The “Salmon Park Chitose” is located along National Highway 337 that connects the City of Chitose and the City of Otaru.
The Chitose River on which salmons go upstream every year runs by the rest area, and the scene of catching salmon by the waterwheel Called Indian Waterwheel is a special feature of autumn in Chitose.
As taking about 10 minites from the New Chitose Airport and the Chitose Interchange of the Hokkaido Expressway Chitose, it is a great location to start traveling in Hokkaido.
