Located in the west gateway to Mikasa (along the national highway 12), this is the first certified (roadside) rest area in Hokkaido.
With the landmark of huge waterwheel with a diameter of 10m, it introduce the history of agricultural development of Mikasa.
The area includes city’s tourism Association (selling local products), Park-Golf course and spa facilities.
Also, the shop next to the area sells such as local agricultural products and home-made ice cream.
