Located along national Highway 242, the roadside rest area “Aurora Town 93 Rikubetsu” used to be the “Station of Road and Railway,” also served as a station of the former Furusato-Ginga Line.
At the present as the roadside rest area, it has information center for Tikachi Bus and Kitami Bus, Kansai Seki Museum, and Tourism/Product Promotion Pavilion on the first floor and the accommodation named Aurora House on the second floor, and you can take a rest in the middle of journey.
Also, it features the park covered with 4000 square-meter lawn.
