This rest area is located at the point where National Highway 12 connecting Sapporo and Asahikawa and National Highway 232 served as major route to Rumoi-Mashike meet.
Since there is no rest area in the surroundings, it is very useful as a rest area for drivers.
This is the gateway to the urban and rural community center “Agri-Kobo Maabu” with hot spring facility and camping gourd, this is an “excellent place” to take a rest.
