Papasu Land Satturu Okhotsk Area
This roadside rest area is located halfway between the Shiretoko National Park and the Akan National Park.
At the front of the building you can view Mt. Shari, also known as Shari-Dake, one of 100 top mountains of Japan, and the area is very convenient for traveling with many attractions such as Lake Mashu, Kami-no-Ko-Ike (pond), and Sakura-no-Taki (falls).
Renovated in April 2013, hot spring, shop and restaurant are now more accessible.
