Located along National Highway 40, the roadside rest area “Mochigome-no-Sato Nayoro” is the one standing in the countryside as the southern gateway to Nayoro.
The rest area offers Nayoro’s specialty products using “sweet rice” and local products featuring “Safety, Secure, Fresh, and Low-Cost,” and it has a restaurant “Osyokuji Kaze-no-Yorimichi” offering meal using local ingredients.
Also, it provides information on Nayoro and surrounding communities through a local FM “Air Tesshi.”
